It has probably not escaped the notice of the regulars that the quantity of posting has declined over the last several, and – if truth be told – the quality has prolly declined as well. Your correspondent is just about out of “there I was stories” from the old days, and things have ramped up aggressively at work. What with the job I had still going and two more full time gigs piled on, all of which are essentially divisible by one. Not that I’m complaining, mind, for I’ve just about had my fill of banging my head against the walls of two counterposed bureaucracies and have been offered a redeployment within the company for to manage programs rather than make recommendations against them.
But! I’m in receipt of a couple of good resumes for to replace me in the old thing, and am clawing my way up into the pair of new things. With varying degrees of success.
It’s just that I’m firing pretty much on all cylinders right now, working weekends too, and time is the fire we all burn in.
